Fire at Jonesboro hemp mill causes major damage JONESBORO, Ark. (AP) -- The Jonesboro Fire Section says a fire at a rice mill is responsible for major damage. KAIT-TV reports that crews taken care of immediately a fire at Riceland Meals around 11 g.m. Saturday. Battalion Main Tom Johnson affirms the fire started in one of several bran dryer Rice Mill Machine structures. He says that's not uncommon, but that this specific fire got a little out of hand. Crews entered an offensive position, which includes crews fighting the fire inside the building. Later in the night, they had to move to the defensive to knock the fire down until they could make their in the past into the building. No one Rice Mill Machine was injured. It can be unclear how the fireplace will affect Riceland's generation.
